This little walnut cabinet used to have heavy glass doors, which we removed immediately. We built a new shelf and painted it inside to the two shades of aquamarine. At the end we got a more lighter and brighter piece.
A high quality piece from the 50s Germany, the teak wood parts needed just a little touch to look like new. We emphasised the lovely curves of the edge with a matching green line. The drawer has got lovely copper parts and a safety knob inside, which is saving it from falling out (imagine that mass, if all the balls and needles ran away!).
The original pattern of the soft drawer was love at first sight. The umbrellas, shoes, gloves, flowers and a little bird in an old-fashioned cage became highlights in our studio. We have chosen our favourite character, the birdie, we have blown it up and printed to old gold fabrics, which we used as a pillow cover. The pillow is our gift to the future owner of the cabinet.

We found this rare Danish trolley with glass top missing, so we decided it to find out an unconventional way to replace it. Hungarian designers Szövetség39 often make experiments with special concrete surfaces, and we involved them to create a slim, but very hard concrete top for the trolley with a special rust pattern.

The simplicity of the rust circle is a perfect opposition to the exciting texture of concrete and the bottom shelf which is originally covered with an amazing Rosewood veneer.

In the dark corner of a storage was hiding a very strange walnut box on four legs. Its top used to be completely replaced, because an old lady might keep her plants on it, and the pouring water destroyed its surface.

We decided to make something special, a small dressing table, yes, from the box. First of all we needed longer legs, because the old ones were to low to hold a table. We picked our favourite constellations from the star map, mixing with other belongings from world space, paying homage to the design world's fascination with space travel in the 1960s - and we printed them to the oak veneer of the new top. Naturally we replaced the mirror inside, which is the most important part of a beauty cabinet.

With some FABRIKA magic this very old Bauhaus cocktail cabinet became a wonderful piece with walnut veneers on the front of the drawers and the colours of the Memphis era. The top is tricky, you can use it as a little side table as well. One of the silver lock plates was missing, but we replaced it with a nice, long one.

We did a complete restoration for this teak trolley, made by Ilsemöbel, Germany. We used a lovely shade of blue to emphasise the beauty of the shape. It is perfect as a side table as well. The original copper wheels are working perfectly.
