G-Plan is a British furniture brand founded in 1953 by Donald Gomme, heir to the company E. Gomme Ltd. The brand name is an abbreviation of “Gomme Plan” and its aim was to offer modern, well-designed furniture that was affordable and practical for consumers. G-Plan furniture is renowned for its simple, functional design and high-quality materials such as teak, rosewood and mahogany. The brand collaborated with Danish designer Ib Kofod-Larsen in the 1960s, who created iconic pieces such as the “G-Plan Danish” collection.
